Refine: Kingdom Minded

When we first thought of what it means to refine a relationship with God, we weren’t quite sure what we could say….after all, doesn’t God do the actual work of refining??? Yes, most certainly.

The dictionary defines the word refine or the act of refining as: “to bring to a fine or a pure state; free from impurities.” But then there is a verb phrase which means “to improve by inserting finer distinctions, superior elements, etc.: to refine on one’s previous work.” It is this that our ministry is focused on helping women of God to become useful in the Kingdom. To become useful “in the Master’s hands.”

2 Timothy 2:20 says:

In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. 21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

Let us all be refined to be vessels of gold and silver – instruments useful to the Master.
